Unless you want to risk bricking your PSP. Just run the installer xgen updater for 5. Redownload and copy the files to your memory stick again.
Hello atma xplorer, I have a psp that just wont work with me. I tried GEN — D3. But after the install, the PSP just goes through the black screen n turnoff routine. That sounds like a bad flash from the start. I did recover my psp to 5. I retried Gen-D3 multiple times, but no dice.
