Chronic sore throat virus mood virus

Im trying to make this public. Hip just seeing your last post - interesting. Could that be the China virus? Everydayimsuffering Personally, no, for a number of reasons. First of all there was a forum where many people participated for many years who held the same hope you did, reaching out to doctors, media, etc.

Nothing ever came of it. I found it just before the creator shut it down as he said the forum depressed him and accomplished nothing. Look at how the Chinese government squashed the complaints of its citizens who caught the virus. That is what I personally hold hope for, and maybe a few rogue doctors like Dr Chia who are willing to think outside the box.

The epithelial cells that line the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract possess CAR, so CVB can and does enter these. The insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas possess CAR, and CVB can enter these and there is evidence that this leads to type 1 diabetes. CVB in fact is able to infect a wide range of cells and organs. And chronic CVB infections may be able to infect more even cell types still, because chronic CVB is a mutated virus which has a different lifecycle, and plays by different rules, and may be able to enter cells by means other than just the normal receptor entry mechanism.

For example, chronic CVB may be able to enter and infect cells via cellular protrusions as shown in the video in this post. The connective tissue issues I think probably arise from elevations in connective tissue-destroying enzymes, which CVB infection is know to increase — see this post.

There is quite a big learning curve when it comes to understanding coxsackievirus B. It took me many years to get a basic understanding of CVB and other enteroviruses. Last edited: Jun 21, It does. But in the light of my experience of an infectious pathogen permanently altering mental state, I look at the world with different eyes: if I see someone who, for example, has an irritable and grumpy personality, or who is suffering depression, or is an anxious person etc, it makes me wonder whether that's just their personality, or whether a pathogen they caught at some point in their life might be responsible.

Insajad Apr 7, Hello uknmy, How you got this virus? For me it was after a sexual encounter in April All STD tests done nothing is positive. I've been trying to remain positive and drink a ton of water, which has helped. I'm still experiencing aches and pains, stiffness especially in my shoulders and neck, and the back of my legs , general malaise, fatigue, etc.

Ugh this is horrible and I believe I caught this virus. Google the search terms - Chronic Sore Throat Mood Virus - to see another blog with lots of information about this new disease.

Its a wordpress blog and should come up right on top. Cant post the link here or this site will filter it! I was very surprised to read this description and find that there are more people with this condition. I've been having trouble with this for 5 years now. During the first year I had a severe personality change became unusually aggressive , lots of skin problems fungal infections , the chronic sore throat and stuffy nose specially at night, or when I'm slowed down.

Recently my sister complained of feeling her memory and mind were weak, as well as having a sore throat for over 3 months. I'm still trying to figure what else to try. I'm taking an antidepressant Wellbutrin that helped with the mental symptoms, but I'm still far from normal specially emotionally.

I hope we can find some treatment. Thanks for the poster of the article. I had a bad flu approx 2 years ago, then after it i suffered bad anxiety and depression, head shocks, fatigue and a host of other symptoms, this lasted for a year. I thought i had MS as i had all the symptoms i even took out life insurance as it was that bad. I now eat plenty of alkalising foods and plenty of Vitamin C and get plenty of exercise as this is the best way to prevent viruses surviving in your body.

Doctors were baffled with it, i was on antibiotics for 3 months but they didn't help. I have chronic sore throat, gerd, stomach pain and anxiety. Came from nowhere Was put on anti depressants which backfired so I stopped 3 days in Decided on cognitive therapy, natural acid reducers available at local health food store, am on a low acid high alkeline diet and aloe vera juice to heal digestive tract. Its hard not to be discouraged but I am learning to treat each day as a new day rather than a continuation of the previous day.

I have set backs but I have the tools and knowledge to get past them. Good luck to everyone. Remember: Time heals everything so be patient and open minded. You may need a combo of holistic and traditional western medicines before u find what works best. I don't think there is a cure Have you tried high doses of Vit C?

I have had something similar for about years. After years doctor said it was lyme disease. No meds helped, but started taking mg a day for about 2 months and it helped a lot. Also added. Vit A krill oil which aided my recovery. Took mg today and have seen almost instant improvement. Hope this helps. Hi there, I have something similar, which I've been battling for at least 10 years.

I would say that it's all in my head, except for 2 things. If it looks like they can contract the disease, then a necropsy of the mouse could reveal a lot. I have a feeling that we're going to have to figure this one out on our own. Cytomegalovirus CMV. Active infection with CMV has been found in chronic fatigue syndrome.

Parvovirus B19 infection is a known cause of chronic fatigue syndrome. Chlamydia pneumoniae is an intracellular bacterium known to cause chronic fatigue syndrome. Coxiella burnetii is a rare bacterium that causes Q-fever, and has also been known to cause chronic fatigue syndrome.

Babesia is a malaria-like protozoan parasite that causes fatigue, mood changes, flu-like symptoms, headache, muscle aches and joint pain. Babesia infects red blood cells causing a disease known as babesiosis. Brucella is a bacterium known to cause chronic fatigue syndrome-like symptoms.

Brucella infection is treatable with antibiotics. Mycoplasma bacteria infection, from species such as Mycoplasma fermentans, Mycoplasma hominis and Mycoplasma penetrans, may cause fatigue. Where appropriate, these conditions should first be tested for and ruled out before you consider a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome.

Clinical Signs and Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Chronic fatigue syndrome manifests a whole array of clinical symptoms, both physical and mental, which may include: Persistent fatigue not due to ongoing exertion, and not relieved by rest.

Fatigue is of a new onset, and greatly reduces activities. Unrefreshing sleep , going to sleep or remaining asleep is hard; altered circadian rhythm eg awake at night, sleeping during the day.
